The cars were pretty easy. Once their owners backed them into the right spot, they were just there. No tilting the head here, twisting the body over there, just a hunk of metal sitting there, waiting for me to get my shot. Yet the owners of these cars (myself included) don't think of them this way. These cars are alive, with lubricants and gasoline pulsing through their veins. 348 cubic inches of heart, and a digital brain that would make the most overacheiving parents proud. We pamper them and talk to them and sometimes push them a little bit over the edge. They protect us, and reward us, and plaster a s**t eating grin on our faces when we mash the accelerator to the floor. To paraphrase Toby Keith....."I like my truck, I like my girfriend, I like a movie now and then...but I love my car"

Cars are People Too......
I had an interesting weekend. Lots of portrait sittings - several involving people, and one involving cars....
